About Me I am a senior in high school, who spends WAY too much time on theater. (During musical season, I've been known to just not go home.) I've done backstage work and lighting and all that, even directed a few shows, but for me, nothing beats performing. I work at the PA Renaissance Faire, and LOVE it there. I love to read, write, listen to music, play music, and play Chutes and Ladders with my little brother.
Music Pretty much anything. I love bagpipes way more that what is entirely normal, and my dream is to one day meet Bono. I'm not a huge fan of rap, but I indulge every now and then. Oh, and yes, I DO love Kenny G.
Movies Peter Pan will always be my favorite movie. I loved Boondock Saints, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and Mr. Holland's Opus.
TV The Office, and Robin Hood on BBC America. The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. That's actually about it...
Books Pretty much anything, especially nonfiction. My favorite writer is George Orwell. I loved Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, and Torn Thread by Anne Isaacs.
Likes Music, of any sort. History, all of it, but especially the Renaissance. Theater. Driving around, treating my car like a karaoke machine on wheels. Going barefoot.
Dislikes Air high fives (seriously, just get up and high five me.) Closed-mindedness. An empty tank (is there a bigger buzzkill than having to stop and fill up?) Cherry flavored jolly ranchers.
Hobbies As I've said, anything pertaining to music or theater. Running and boxing. Reading, writing, drawing. I'm basically your average creepy loner in a trench coat -- just without the trench coat.
Vices I swear way too much. And I'm a complete caffiene addict.
Virtues I'm generally a pretty honest individual, and I've been told I have a good sense of humor.
Heroes My dad. My best friends,Andrew and Meg. Bono.

    My first blog...aw...scrapbook moment.

So, my blogs tend to be pretty wordy and longwinded. Just thought I'd warn you in advance.

My friend Jeff and I just finished writing a script, which we're currently shopping around to some local theaters.  So, let's hope for the best on that one.

There's some obvious chaos that comes along with being cooped up with the same person for 5 months, but hopefully, all of that will pay off.

I just recently left my theater company, the yard, which was pretty upsetting for me.  I helped build that company, I cofounded it with a former teacher, and then didn't really get anything back for the work that I put in. So, after three years, I left. I don't regret a second of it, though, I loved that group, and it gave me some great experience.

The PA Renaissance Faire, where I work at Swashbuckler Public House, is gearing up for a new season.  I love that place, with a dorky adoration that I can't even describe.  It makes me look forward to weekends again.  I work at Public House, handin' out the famous Scotch eggs, with one of my best friends on the planet, so faire season is great.  This year, Public will be run by a bunch of teenagers while Todd opens up the nacho stand so - fingers crossed!

Eh, he taught us well.  It's all going to work out great.

And, fear not - the Scotch eggs are just as delicious as ever they were.

Well, I think I've made my first post sufficiently long-winded.

And now, you know what to expect in the future.

And that, my friends, is that.
